Reflex Party Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-11-04
This Privacy Policy explains how mgobill (“we,” “us”) handles information in Reflex Party and related support services. Reflex Party is a reaction and observation game for people sharing one device, with optional Solo Practice. Gameplay works offline and does not require a Reflex Party account.
The current launch is for iPhone and iPad. Google Play distribution is deferred. Advertising and purchase processing apply when those services are enabled and used.
1. Information we handle
Local settings and gameplay
The app saves settings on your device, including sound and haptic preferences, custom game selections, player count and round count. It also saves a completed-session counter and the time of the last interstitial-ad presentation attempt to manage ad frequency. Scores and reaction times are calculated on the device for gameplay. We do not operate a gameplay account, cloud leaderboard or gameplay synchronization service.
The app does not request contacts, camera, microphone or precise location access for gameplay. Advertising services may infer approximate location from network information.
Advertising and privacy choices
The free version includes interstitial ads through Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). We use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for advertising consent and privacy choices where required.
For the iOS launch, the app requests non-personalized ads, disables Google’s optional publisher first-party ID and does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission or access to the IDFA. We do not use the app to track users across other companies’ apps or websites for targeted advertising. Regional consent and opt-out controls still apply.
Non-personalized ads still involve data processing. Google and participating ad providers may process IP addresses, approximate location, device and app information, permitted identifiers or local storage, ad impressions and interactions, diagnostic information, fraud-prevention signals and consent choices. These support contextual ad delivery, frequency management, measurement, diagnostics, security and fraud prevention. Depending on your choices and region, limited ads or no ads may be available.
Full Game permanently removes interstitial ads. It does not delete information already held by advertising providers. See Google’s partner-app data explanation, Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising information.
In-app purchases
Apple’s App Store processes the optional Full Game purchase. We do not receive your full payment card details. Full Game is a one-time non-consumable upgrade that unlocks the additional games and three/four-player mode and permanently removes interstitial ads. Solo Practice and two-player mode include a fixed lineup of ten free games.
The iOS app verifies transactions on your device using Apple’s StoreKit 2. It reads Apple’s verified current entitlements and transaction updates to restore access and respond to verified refunds or revocations. No Reflex Party account or developer-hosted purchase-verification server is used for the iOS release, and purchase evidence is not sent to a verification server operated by us.
Purchase evidence is cached in secure device storage to retain access offline. Apple maintains its own transaction and payment records. Restore may require connectivity and your Apple Account. The app cannot detect a new refund while offline until updated store information becomes available.
Support correspondence
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any device information, screenshots or transaction details you choose to provide. Please do not send payment card details, passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide gameplay, save preferences, manage ad frequency and consent, verify and restore ownership, prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems and answer support requests. The app has no separate gameplay analytics or crash-reporting service. Advertising SDKs may process interaction and diagnostic data as described above.
3. Sharing and service providers
Google AdMob and participating providers process information for advertising, consent, measurement, diagnostics and fraud prevention. Apple processes purchases, restoration, refunds and store records. Email and website-hosting providers support correspondence and our public support/policy pages.
We may disclose information when legally required or to protect users and secure our services. We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising-related disclosures may be treated as sale or sharing under applicable privacy laws; applicable privacy choices are available through advertising controls where required. See Apple’s Privacy Policy and Google’s policies linked above. Advertiser destinations have their own practices.
4. Your choices and requests
Open Settings → Ad privacy choices, when displayed, to review or change advertising choices. Availability depends on the consent service’s requirements for your region. Device privacy controls do not stop all advertising-related processing.
You can change sound, haptics and custom game settings in the app. Ordinary local data can be removed using device controls or by uninstalling. Secure purchase storage and backups may persist; uninstalling does not cancel ownership or erase Apple’s records.
Contact moocbear@gmail.com for access, correction, deletion or assistance exercising applicable privacy rights. There is no Reflex Party account to delete. We may need information to verify and locate your request. Depending on your location, rights may include portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent or a complaint to a data protection authority. Requests concerning data independently held by Apple, Google or an ad provider may need to be directed to that provider. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
5. Retention and security
Local preferences remain until replaced or removed through device controls. Secure purchase evidence supports continuing access and restoration. We retain support correspondence only as needed to provide assistance, resolve disputes, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations. Service providers apply their own retention policies. Backups and legally required records may persist.
StoreKit manages communication with Apple’s services; purchase evidence is stored using secure device storage. We take reasonable safeguards, but no device or transmission is completely secure.
6. Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or the applicable minimum age in their region, without any consent required by law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and act appropriately. Parents and guardians can manage purchases through device parental controls.
7. International processing
Providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy protections may differ by country. Where required, transfers are subject to applicable safeguards.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as services change, with a revised date and additional notice or consent where required.
