Chable Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-21
This Privacy Policy explains how Chable collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Chable mobile app and related services.
Chable is an entertainment game where players scan real-world places, acquire virtual businesses, build a virtual company, compare rankings, and interact with game systems such as action charges, referrals, rewarded ads, and hostile takeovers. In-game assets are virtual only and do not represent real-world ownership.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address and authentication data used to create, verify, and access your account. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.
- Account status information such as account creation date, email verification status, role, ban status, referral code, accepted Terms of Use timestamp, and related security/account metadata.
- Guest session information if you use the app before creating or signing into an account.
Gameplay and Profile Data
- Company profile details such as company name, motto, selected region, optional company logo, and related settings.
- Gameplay state such as cash balance, net worth, action charges, scan inventory, business acquisitions, portfolio records, chain names, takeover data, daily results, leaderboard/ranking data, rewards, referrals, tutorial progress, and transaction/history records.
- Administrative and moderation records used to operate the game, support users, investigate abuse, and maintain official business datasets.
Location and Place Data
- Device location when you choose to scan for nearby businesses or use location-based discovery.
- Chable uses location to request nearby place/business information from third-party map and place services, including OpenStreetMap/Overpass-related services.
- Chable does not continuously track your location in the background. We use location when needed for app features you initiate or permit.
- We may store gameplay results derived from scans, such as matched business listings, acquired virtual businesses, business names, categories, coordinates, region data, and related economic data.
User Content and Uploaded Media
- Company logos and other user-provided content that you choose to upload or enter.
- Content may be stored using Firebase Storage and may be reviewed or moderated to enforce app rules, respond to support requests, or protect the service.
Advertising and Consent Data
Chable may show ads, including rewarded ads that can grant virtual in-game benefits after successful completion.
Advertising partners and related SDKs may process information such as:
- Advertising identifiers and device identifiers.
- IP address, app version, device model, operating system, language, and general location inferred from network data.
- Ad requests, impressions, clicks, completion events, reward confirmation, diagnostics, and fraud-prevention signals.
- Consent choices and privacy settings where applicable.
Chable uses Google AdMob and may use mediation partners such as Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, and Liftoff Monetize (formerly Vungle). AdMob mediation may use real-time bidding. When an eligible ad opportunity occurs, AdMob may send an ad request to Liftoff Monetize or another mediation partner so that the partner can decide whether and how much to bid to display an ad.
Liftoff Monetize and its advertising demand partners may use SDKs and similar tracking technologies to collect, receive, use, and share advertising data. Depending on your device, permissions, consent choices, and applicable law, this data may include advertising or device identifiers, IP address, device and app information, approximate location and other permitted location information, ad requests, ads viewed or clicked, ad completion and reward events, diagnostics, performance information, and fraud-prevention signals. Liftoff Monetize and its demand partners may use this information to bid on, select, deliver, personalize, limit, measure, and improve ads; create or improve advertising profiles where permitted; perform statistical analysis; and detect fraud or security issues. Liftoff states that it acts as an independent controller for the advertising data it processes through its Monetize platform where applicable data protection law uses that term.
We use Google’s User Messaging Platform where required to request and manage advertising consent choices. You may see privacy choice controls in the app when required for your region or configuration. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily prevent ads from appearing, but it may limit the information used to select them.
Technical, Analytics, Security, and Diagnostic Data
- App version, device type, operating system, crash details, error logs, performance data, and service reliability information.
- Analytics and app usage data (such as screen views, sessions, and in-game interactions) collected via Google Analytics for Firebase to help us understand how players use the app.
- Security and integrity signals from services such as Firebase App Check, Play Integrity, App Attest, or DeviceCheck, where available.
- Cloud Functions and backend logs needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the app.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, verify, and secure accounts.
- Provide core gameplay features, including scans, business matching, acquisitions, portfolio management, daily simulation, rankings, referrals, tutorials, rewards, and hostile takeovers.
- Sync progress across devices and restore account data.
- Display and verify rewarded ads and grant virtual rewards when eligible.
- Personalize and measure ads where permitted by your consent choices and applicable law.
- Detect fraud, cheating, abuse, unauthorized automation, security threats, and policy violations.
- Moderate user-provided content and maintain a fair game environment.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot errors.
- Analyze player engagement, feature usage, and app performance to improve the game experience.
- Operate admin tools, official business datasets, configuration, and game-balancing systems.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. Public and Shared Gameplay Information
Some gameplay information may be visible to other players, such as company name, logo, motto, rankings, region, net worth, takeover-related information, and other profile or leaderboard details.
Do not enter information in your company name, motto, logo, or other visible profile fields that you do not want other players to see.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We may share information in the following situations:
- Service providers that help run the app, such as Firebase/Google Cloud services for authentication, database, storage, analytics, backend functions, app integrity, diagnostics, and related infrastructure.
- Advertising partners such as Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, Liftoff Monetize, and advertising demand partners that participate through mediation or real-time bidding, to bid on, request, select, deliver, measure, personalize, limit, and verify ads and rewarded ad completions; perform statistical analysis; and prevent fraud. Depending on your region, some advertising data sharing may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under privacy laws. Where required, you may be provided privacy choices.
- Map and place data providers when location-based scans request nearby business/place data.
- Legal, safety, and security purposes when required by law, to enforce our terms, respond to lawful requests, protect users, investigate abuse, or protect our rights and infrastructure.
- Business transfers if Chable or related assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or similar transaction.

When you delete your account through the app or request deletion, we delete or de-identify account and gameplay data where reasonably possible. Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, security records, fraud-prevention systems, or records we are legally required or permitted to retain.
